Environmental Design 

The National Conference is Commonwealth Financial Network's largest yearly educational conference. The 2022 conference, shown here, was the first in-person educational conference after Covid, and the first to introduce Commonwealth's new brand. Signage and stage graphics showcased the new branding to the Commonwealth community. The value and strategy of creative direction is most effective when it builds a cohesive brand across a variety of teams and media (e.g., environmental signage, internal/external video production, presentations and collateral.)

Promotional Storyboards
and Video Production

Commonwealth's in-house design and communications team created a video promoting the work that had been done for our advisors. Working closely with the marketing team, writer and senior designer, we developed two unique concepts. One was chosen and produced into a three-minute video by our internal video team. Below are the opening frames of the selected storyboard.

You hear and see water moving in the background

The yellow rays move up from the bottom towards the top of the page as the background becomes a darker green over the image of the water.

The yellow rays continue to move up and spread out as the text moves into place.

The rays and text fade as the rowers begin to come in from the bottom of the page quickly followed by the text.

The rowers continue to row upward as the new text comes in.

Zoom in on the rowers, as "Power up with us" appears on the screen.
